All the birds were flying south for the winter but the EAGLE wanted to stay at her home. The King Of The Birds wanted her to come with them. When she refused he sent birds down to collect her but they were warded off by the pack of Wolves she was friends with! Soon the king gave up because too many birds were killed and the Eagle got to stay at her home!

Interview with the vampire

In a darkend room a young man sits telling the macbre and eerie story of his life... the story of a vampire gifted with eternal life, cursed with an esquisite craving for human blood.

Reads the back coverof the novel. The main character, Lois, is originally a wealthy man and all is well.... until he is first attacked by the vampire Lestat who turns Lois into a vampire and teaches him in the ways of a vampire. Soon the servants (who are superstitous) burn down the house so Lois and Lestat move to the city and dump all the servants bodies into the swamp. Once in the city they find themselves an apartment. Lois (whom feeds off the blood of animals) finds himself very thirsty as he comes across a little girl with a dying mother as she askes him for help he feels a sudden impulse and attackes thhe girl leaving her draines and barley alive. Lestat had been following Lois and had seen the whole thing happen. The next night he took Lois to see the little girl in an orphanage and, posing as her father,takes her to the apartment and turns her into a vampire. Claudia,the little girl, becomes just like Lestat. But soon she turns on Lestat and Kills him.

Term 1- Short Story " Cruise of the Lovers" by Pippin Greening
In term 1 we studied Short Stories. It was really enjoyable because we got to read diffirent Short Stories and then we had to create our own which was also really fun!


Term 2- "The Silver Donkey" by Sonia Hartnett

The Silver Donkey was ok. It wasn't the most enjoyable book I have ever read. I found the in class test rather hard. The opiniative speech wasn't very enjoyable because I do not really fancy public speeking.


Term 3- "The Dark Hills Divide" by Patric Carman, Poetry

I have really enjoyed The Dark Hills Devide this Term. It was a really good book.

Reflection on the Dark Hills Divide

The thing I like about the Dark Hills Divide is that it containes alot of mystery and secrets which I think are really good. Also it has just enough action to satisfy everyone like if someone preferred Mystery to Action or Action to Mystery they both would be satisfyed!It was also goood when you found out who Sebastian was because it never really seemed to be Ganesh because you would think that they would come up with a name that still started with S like Silas or something like that. Altogather it is a really good book that I recommend to anyone who enjoys action and mystery!
